History
The Venue is a unique multi-purpose room which was originally built as a cinema in 1919. It was converted into a dance venue in 1991 and still retains its elegant charm. The Venue is well known for its large dance floor and the retention of its 1920’s original architectural features. It's the perfect location for a special event or party. The spacious hall provides a stylish and comfortable environment to help create the perfect atmosphere for your special occasion.
Well known for it's regular Social Ballroom Dance Evenings the Venue hosts a wide range of dance events to making good use of the beautiful maple dance floor.
Only a short drive from the M62 motorway junction 27, making it well connected for Leeds, Wakefield, Batley and the surrounding areas. There is ample available parking and the main room is served by a large bar area. Licensed for up to 250 people.

Venue Hire
CAPACITY
We can comfortably accommodate and seat 200 people in the Dance Hall. Although our licensed capacity is higher we restrict the maximum capacity to 200 to avoid overcrowding.
CATERING
We do not provide food or arrange food for functions, but we are happy for hirers to make their own catering arrangements. We are happy to provide 3 six foot tables free of charge. There would be a small charge for covers.

Bar Facilities
We have a large well stocked bar with draught beers. We are happy to discuss any special drinks requests e.g Guests drinks on arrival, Champagne , free bar. For larger functions we will have unto 6 staff working on the bar.
